Si estás leyendo estos es porque quizás eres un emprendedor que se esfuerza muchísimo por sacar adelante su negocio, pero al final del día, quincena o mes, no vez los resultados en tus finanzas. ¿Qué es lo que te queda para ti, después de pagarle a todo el mundo?

No sabes la cantidad de veces que he escuchado esto, Sophia, tengo buenas ventas, cobro lo que tengo que cobrar, pero a la hora de la hora, no me queda casi nada para mí.

Puedo asegurar que esto les pasa alrededor del 95% de los emprendedores, cotizan trabajos, proyectos, servicios, tomando en cuenta todos los costos, a excepción del pago por el trabajo de ellos mismos. ¿Suena algo ilógico, cierto? Bueno, acá te muestro cómo mejorar esta mala práctica, para que tú también puedas vivir de tu emprendimiento.

#1. Solo tú sabes cuánto necesitas para vivir.

Me he encontrado con estas preguntas una y otra vez, Sophia, ¿Y qué porcentaje debo ponerme de salario? ¿Cuánto debo cobrar por hora? ¿Será que cobro por cada servicio?

La respuesta es la misma, solo tú sabes cuanto necesitas para vivir, lo que quiero decir con esto es que, solo tú sabes cuáles son tus gastos personales, cual es el monto necesario para cubrir tus gastos y estilo de vida personal.

Eres tú el que decide cuánto, quiere ganar de salario, cuánto quiere cobrar por su hora de servicio o trabajo. Siempre y cuando tomes en consideración la relación de todos los demás costos y obligaciones del negocio.

Si no sabes el monto que necesitas para sobrellevar tus gastos personales, es importante que hagas un presupuesto personal, para comenzar a tener más claridad y visualizar cuánto sería ese monto.

#2. Siempre calcula dentro de tus costos tu pago.

Piensa por un momento antes de armar tus paquetes de servicios, antes de cotizar tu proyecto, ¿Qué tiempo le tendré que dedicar a esto? He incluye en los costos el pago que se te pagará por ese tiempo en el que estarás trabajando en ello.

Modos de incluir o contabilizar tu pago dependiendo del tipo de negocio:

  • Por hora.
  • Por Mes.
  • Por proyecto.
  • Por paquete de servicio.
  • Salario fijo mensual.
  • Por venta.
  • Etc

Piénsalo, va a llegar un momento que tu negocio va a seguir creciendo y necesitarás delegar funciones, porque simplemente no puedes con todo. Y vas a tener que pagarle a otra persona por hacer una partecita de lo que actualmente haces, como no pagarte a ti mismo que ¡haces todo!

#3. Pagarte te mantiene motivado y enfocado.

Si estás siempre estresado y atribulado porque no te alcanza lo que estás generando en tu emprendimiento, para cubrir tus gastos personales, no vas a tener la mente y el espíritu preparado para seguirle inyectando lo que tu negocio necesita que es, creatividad, buenas vibras, positivismo, y disciplina.

Todas esas cosas que son necesarias para el la bola de nieve de tu negocio siga creciendo.

Este tema si no lo sabemos manejar bien, puede traernos situaciones delicadas a las cuales no queremos llegar. He visto como emprendedores han dejado sus negocios y todo lo que invirtieron porque simplemente no llevaron bien las finanzas, y no les daba para cubrir sus gastos personales.

A lo contrario, si este tema lo manejamos correctamente, nos queremos comer al mundo, y le metemos todas las ganas, nuestra mente siempre estará pensando ¿Cómo hacer para generar más? Y no ¿Cómo hago para pagar mis deudas? ¿Me sigues?

Importante: Las ganancias del negocio, no son tu pago, recuerda que las ganancias van al pool de ganancias de donde se pagan todos los costos fijos del negocio, incluyendo los salarios. Claro también dependerá del tipo de negocio, si tienes socios o no, cómo son los acuerdos de sociedad, etc.
