Fundamentos financieros Parte 1 de 3.
El objetivo principal del este Blog, es que entiendas el marco de referencia necesario para que tu negocio sobreviva financieramente, sea sostenible y florezca.
Lo que vas a leer a continuación te retará a ver tu negocio desde una perspectiva críticamente constructiva, porque seamos realistas si tu negocio no está generando ingresos, entonces no tienes un negocio, tienes un hobby.
Y lo que quiero hacer es ayudarte a establecer tu negocio para que sobreviva financieramente, que sea sostenible, o sea, que puedas mantener vivo eso que tanto te ha costado construir y crear y por último que florezca, que logres vivir de los frutos de todo ese trabajo, viviendo como nadie más, trabajando en lo que amas hacer.
Esta es la primera parte de una serie de tres Blogs que voy a estar desarrollando en las próximas semanas acerca de fundamentos financieros, estos son fundamentos que tienes que tener sí porque sí claros en tu negocio.

¿Cómo conocer tus números y presupuestar?
La razón #1 por la cual los pequeños negocios fracasan es porque su líder, el emprendedor no conoce sus números.
Si hoy en día, no estás manejando tu negocio con presupuestos, te lo digo desde una perspectiva de Coach, ¡Conocer tus números y presupuestar tiene que ser una prioridad! Esto debe estar dentro de tu categoría de importante y urgente. Si actualmente no lo estás haciendo.
Te recomiendo hacer esto de inmediato, a penas termines de leer este Blog, tienes tarea.
Muchos emprendedores toman conciencia de que tienen que estar presupuestando cuando tocan fondo y en la gran mayoría de los casos para ese entonces ya es demasiado tarde.
Así que quiero que estés metido de cabeza en esto, porque no quiero que llegues a tener que sentir dolor, para tener que hacer los cambios que necesitas hacer, ¡hazlos desde hoy!
¿Qué necesitas saber para conocer tus números y presupuestar?
1. Ingresos brutos anuales: Estos son los ingresos que obtuviste durante todo el año, sin deducir costos de impuestos, costos fijos o administrativos.
2. Ingresos netos anuales: Estos son los ingresos que te quedaron luego de pagar todo lo que tuviste que pagar, ¿Cuánto te quedó según tu flujo de efectivo?
3. Tarifa mensual de operación: ¿Cuánto necesita tu negocio para operar mensualmente? Este es el número que vendas o no vendas tienes que pagar todos los meses para que el negocio continúe operando. Compara ese número con tus ingresos mes a mes. Aquí te dejo una plantilla para ayudarte a saber este número.
4. Flujo de efectivo mensual: Tienes que saber cuál es tu flujo de efectivo mensual, acá te dejo un Blog completo con un video donde explico más detallado acerca de flujo de efectivo.
5. Tu situación financiera actual y el impacto que tendrá en el futuro: conocer tu estado financiero actual, te dará un pantallazo visual de lo que debes mejorar, cambiar o eliminar, te dirá si estás cerca o no de tus objetivos y te ayudará a planificarte para el futuro con fundamento. ¿Dónde estás hoy, y a dónde quieres ir?
Ahora, no quiero que te sientas mal, si actualmente no estás haciendo nada de esto en tu negocio, a cambio lo que sí quiero es que entiendas que está bien empezar así, pero lo que no está bien es que continúes de esta manera.
Si no trabajas con presupuesto, no sabes a qué estás apuntando todos los meses, ¿En base a qué haces tus metas de ventas?
Hagamos algo, establece hoy en tu calendario, una revisión semanal de tus números, separa tiempo en tu agenda para esto “Si no está en el calendario no se hace”. Haz de esto un hábito clave. Mas acerca de hábitos claves aquí.
Sé que revisar los números posiblemente no está dentro de tu zona de confort, y es por eso que con mucha más intencionalidad debes convertirlo en un hábito clave dentro de tu negocio, mientras más lo haces, más fácil se vuelve.
Si vas a seguir postergando y postergando esto, el trabajo que tendrás que hacer será mucho mayor, así que es mejor que lo hagas empezando semanalmente y luego a fin de mes puedas revisar como te fue en el mes completo, para entonces planificar estrategias del siguiente mes.
