Si no tuvimos una buena administración y planeación, los gastos podrían acabar con la diversión. Lo más conveniente es utilizar sabiamente nuestro dinero, por lo que antes de embarcarte a conocer un nuevo destino es importante que puedas planear y presupuestar tus gastos, para que tengas un regreso a casa tranquilo; refiriéndome al sentido financiero tuyo y de tu familia.
Estas son algunas sugerencias que podrías poner en práctica para que tu bolsillo no se vea afectado:
1. Arma un presupuesto. Planea con tiempo a dónde quieres ir, qué cosas te gustaría hacer, que necesitas comprar para irte de vacaciones, seguros, ropa, zapatos, algo en especial. Poner por escrito un presupuesto para tus vacaciones te dará una mayor idea de cuánto gastarás y así tendrás una cantidad de dinero más aproximada destinada para disfrutar y divertirte.
Por ejemplo si viajarás con tu familia de 4 personas, podrías pensar en las actividades que realizarás día a día desde que empieza el día hasta que termine, e irles asignando un costo aproximado de esta manera:
Día 1: Desayuno en el hotel ($10.00*4=$40.00) + Taxi al acuario ($25.00) + Entradas al acuario ($40*4=$160.00) + Comida ($10.00*4=$40.00) + taxi de regreso al hotel ($25.00) + Cena en Hotel ($15.00*4=$60.00) = $350.00
De esta manera haces un presupuesto de todos los días para obtener un total, si vez que llega a ser muy elevado, puedes reorganizarte en algunas cosas como tomar la decisión de acortar un día de las vacaciones por ejemplo. El objetivo es que viajes con la tranquilidad de saber que no vas a gastar más de lo que puedes.
2. Ahorra. Ya una vez armado tu presupuesto, es ideal poderte planificar para tus vacaciones al menos 12 meses con anticipación, sin embargo hasta 6 meses antes de la fecha de tus vacaciones no es del todo malo, pero mientras antes mejor. La idea es tomar el total de tu presupuesto vacacional y dividirlo entre la cantidad de quincenas que hay en 12 meses.
Por ejemplo: si tu presupuesto para vacacionar es de $2,000.00/24 quincenas = $83.33, este sería el monto a pagar a tu cuenta de ahorro vacaciones.
Es súper importante y siempre lo digo, el tema del ahorro es un pago que te haces a ti mismo. Hazte la idea de que tienes una deuda que pagar de $83.33 quincenal en este caso. Podrías automatizar los pagos en tu banca en línea para que automáticamente se te descuente y acredite a tu cuenta de ahorro vacaciones.
3. Adquiere una tarjeta prepagada. Este tipo de tarjeta permite cargar tu dinero por medio de banca en línea o depósito a cuenta y poder pagar sin manejar dinero en efectivo. Puedes usarla en todos los establecimientos que reciban tarjeta sin importar el país que te encuentres. La cosa es cuando tenemos una tarjeta de crédito en nuestro poder y de viaje con nosotros, solemos pensar en ella como un efectivo extra que nos llevamos. Luego adquirimos una nueva deuda y nos decimos a nosotros mismos, “todo va a estar bien, el otro mes lo repongo”, ¡error! si de por sí el regreso a la rutina nunca es fácil, si vuelves con los numeritos en rojo, creo que es mucho peor. Recuerda no gastar más de lo que tienes, trata a toda costa de apegarte al presupuesto que armaste con mucho esfuerzo y que si vas a realizar pagos con tu tarjeta de crédito, es porque ya habían sido incluidos en éste.
